What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
“Know your worth!” This was said to me by my roommate freshman year at UW La Crosse after I walked home after my first one-night stand. I ignored her advice and dismissed her at the time. It was only years later that I understood what she had meant. She was probably trying to be friendly, but I took it as an insult.
This hits hard!🔥…I was told the same by someone and took it as an insult as well… And now here i’am realising how wrong I was for taking it that way…
But now I’m happy that I know what she really meant by that..
