I found a piece of myself in every person I’ve ever loved and lost. I keep them all, quietly, in the corners of my heart.
I found a sunrise after a night I thought would never end. I kept the memory like a prayer I whisper on hard days.
I found my voice trembling, but still speaking. I’ve kept it trembling, because truth doesn’t have to sound strong to be real.
I found out I could survive heartbreak. That’s not something you find — it’s something that finds you, and refuses to let go.
I can recall a memory from when my dad that said he was proud of me. I keep it in the back of my mind at all times.
I found out what loneliness feels like — and I’ve kept the lesson: that being alone and being unloved aren’t the same.
I found an old friend again after years of silence. We both had grown, but the warmth was the same. I’ll never let that go.
I found my childhood journal, pages full of dreams I was too scared to chase. I keep it now to remind myself not to waste time.
I found a scar on my body that tells a story I don’t like to remember. But I’ve kept it, because it’s mine — proof I made it through.
I found my reflection in the eyes of someone who saw me when I couldn’t see myself. I still carry that gaze inside me.
