No. I am using “for a reason” to mean to fulfill some purpose, not to mean, “for a reason” as in there is a reason things happen. This is the trouble with English – there is only one word for “for”. In Spanish, there are two words that mean “for” in English – “por” and “para”. “Para” means “to fulfill some purpose”, and “por” means “for a bigger reason.” I think most things do happen to fulfill some purpose; however, I do not think anything happens for a bigger reason.
