If someone younger than me asked me for advice, it would be: spend generously on things that save you time or improve your health. Skimp on the fast fashion; invest in a great mattress and good food. You are your most important investment. An example of this was when I invested time in my college education. This broadened my perspective and made me a more desirable job candidate. I never would have worked for social security if it had not been for my education.
