Boundary Violation

If boundaries were ignored, process the hurt, then rebuild with new clarity. Forgiveness doesn’t mean forgetting lessons learned.

When faced with a boundary violation, first try to de-escalate. Then, describe what happened neutrally. State your boundary with “I” language, and make a specific request and consequence.

If they try to fight it, calmly say it again and again. Document and record the time of this event. Next, you need to enlist support or escalate. Review and repair agreements, and know when to walk away.
