What are the biggest mistakes people make when visiting your country?

One of the biggest mistakes people make when visiting my country is that they assume America is one big party. Unfortunately, it is not always that way, and PLENTY of horrors occur in America. Perhaps even more horrors exist here than in other countries, because “freedom” is so enshrined in our ideology. Unfortunately, straight white men are the main ones who benefit from this “freedom,” and women, girls, gays, and minorities get restrictions placed on their bodily autonomy and safety.
