What’s a fear you’ve overcome — and how did you do it?

I had a fear of remembering my trauma. I tried to block it out whenever I thought of it. However, healing is about changing your relationship to the trauma.

The first step, according to my medication prescriber, for overcoming trauma is to write it down. I did this today. Words on a page are less scary than thoughts in the mind.
