Anna Sorkin posed as Anna Delvey, who dominated New York city’s social and art scene from 2013-2017. She was born to a Russian(big surprise) middle class family, and she posed as a German heiress with a 60 million dollar trust fund to gain invitations to NYC elite events. Netflix paid her 320,000 for the rights to her story.
