Why am I so chaotic? I’ve attended group therapy many times, but my emotions are sometimes too intense for me to behave in an appropriate way. This is frustrating, especially when I jump to conclusions due to misunderstanding something. “Check the facts” is a skill I learned in group therapy.
“Check the facts” is when, before acting on a conclusion I have made in my mind, I should reexamine the facts to check what is known for sure. Then, I base my behavior off of what I know for sure.
