The coolest thing I’ve ever found and kept is my self-worth. Frank had an incredibly important role in me realizing my own self-worth. He always encouraged me to “know your worth,” just as my roommate freshman year did. This time, though, the context was different.
Frank encouraged me to start charging men more for services rendered. The first time I rendered these services, I only charged about half of what he later told me I could get. Then, I began asking for this amount. Turned out, he was right. Years later, I used all my earnings during this time to max out my Roth IRA two years in a row in my twenties. Thank you, Frank.
