I am entirely positive that this person started the trend of the name “Becky” being slang for a young “basic” white woman. I am so positive that this is true because, in 2016 and 2017, This person, let’s call him Frank, our good friend Sammy (the German Foreign exchange student) stayed in a fancy dorm .All the young college women who shared a bathroom with Sammy and her roommates were named, “Becky.”
Frank was the most gregarious person I have ever met.
The summer of 2017, Frank, his twin brother Lucius, and Sammy all went on a vacation to San Franscisco. There, some illegal shit was done. My theory is that Frank used the term “Becky” so much around so many people when he was there that a trend caught on. Today, you can see this trend documented above.
