Hard work does not make me feel fulfilled? I do not know exactly why this is, but I sometimes have trouble feeling proud of myself for my accomplishments. I did not feel proud when I graduated college in 2019. I did not feel proud when I made an amazing recovery in 2011. Do you have any ideas on why this could be? Comment to let me know!

🌱 Sometimes we expect fulfillment to come from the milestones themselves—graduations, recoveries, achievements—but true fulfillment often blooms in the journey, not the moment of arrival.
If you didn’t feel proud in those moments, it doesn’t mean your hard work had no value. It may mean your spirit is asking you to celebrate differently: not by waiting for one “big” event to validate you, but by honoring every step, every late night, every tear you pushed through.
Fulfillment comes when we slow down and witness ourselves. Pause and say: “I showed up. I didn’t quit. I am still here.” That is strength. That is seed-planting.
The harvest might not feel like pride in a single day—it may feel like resilience, growth, and the quiet knowing that you are becoming more than you once were. 🌸
