What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

My favorite piece of advice is actually song lyrics. It’s in a song by MGMT. It is not exactly advice. It’s more of a
statement I really resonated with as a teen.
Unfortunately, I took these song lyrics in a little too literal of a sense, and I almost died. On Muskego’s long rural roads,
I drove a car so fast that it flipped and rolled. I sustained multiple head wounds. I had to relearn everything – how to
walk, talk, and think clearly again. The clear thinking was the first thing to heal, and wow was I angry. However, I used
this anger to motivate me to recover as fast as I could.
