What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

This advice was given to me in my freshman year of college. My roommate said it after I stumbled home from my first
one-night stand. I had no idea what she meant. I ignored her at the time. However, following this advice did put me
in a good financial place in my twenties. Thank you, old roommate.
