My most epic kitchen failure was when I was making popcorn for me and my mother. I added sugar instead of salt. It
tasted weird. My mom took the first bite.

“Did you add sugar instead of salt?” my mother asked me. I tried a bite, and I knew she was correct right away.

“Oh no!” I exclaimed. “I made an egregious error!”

    Sugary popcorn is popular in the UK – I’m also partial to the salt and sugar mix which I’m sure is very unhealthy.
