I am very excited for this summer. This summer, I finally live in a place with ample foliage surrounding it. The birds tweet and chirp all around me; I am happy. I have an app on my phone that identifies which bird the tweets are coming from, too.
A Northern House Wren dominates the chorus. A Gray Catbird and an American robin join in song. I hear a Blue Jay, and an Indigo Bunting. The sound of the birds pleases me, and I feel happy and close to nature. It’s kind of spiritual, in a way.
