Words have real effects on the real world

I know I can’t change the world. I don’t know why I try, since it frustrates me so much. But because I understand that using the word “bitch” perpetuates a culture that harms all women, I get very sad when I hear people say it.

Real facts

Hence, when I go out in the world, I am prone to sadness, because it is such a common word. People are ignorant – they don’t know any better. So, I just have to get it through my head that old men using the word “bitch” are ignorant. Less intelligent than me. I should pity them.
