What is your favorite genre of music?

My favorite genre of music is alternative, but I appreciate all genres of music, except country. I definitely hate country music, probably because it’s associated with confederate flags and racism.

    I just posted an interview with an Asian American country artists who talks about that problem with who’s claimed country music as their own, but I love the story telling and that more and more there are artists within the genre speaking out again racism and exclusion.

    I’m sorry this is your view on country music. Here in the Northeast, the genre has become fairly mainstream. Most newer country music leans toward a melodic rock-rap.

      That’s good. Thank you for sharing. Here in the rural Midwest, racism and country music are entangled to such a problematic extent that I do not prefer it
