Studying philosophy, rhetoric, and critical theory in college really influenced my perspective on life, meaning, and human nature. I came to recognize meaning in narratives especially that I never would have understood prior to college. I began to recognize meaningful character arcs in my own life, and in the lives of people around me. I began to recognize how two seemingly opposing ideas can both be true, and I came to understand how meaning can be skewed through words.
