I don’t want to spend my life working, but I don’t know what else to do with my life. I’m still in my 20s, and I do not more than 28 hours a week. I work in an office. I enjoy my time there, but I am hesitant to work full-time.
I fatigue too easily to handle a full-time job; this is how I felt two years ago when the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation got me an interview with my current part-time job. I have worked there since March of 2022.
Maybe I will go back to school. I already graduated with a bachelor’s degree in English and Philosophy in 2019, but recently I have an interest in computer programming. This can be self-taught, and a degree can be attained at a local technical college. A two-year program this is all I really want to commit to doing at this time.
What do you think I should do? What does your own education and work journey look like? Has anyone else worked with the DVR? Let me know in the comments!
