Last week, I helped my partner clean out a drawer in their house. They found an old fitness watch of theirs they had discarded previously, and they gave it to me.

I had not exercised too much since college, but this watch tracks my steps. My daily goal is 8,000 steps. This week, I did it for 4 days in a row. If I can do that every week, my health will improve tremendously.

If I continue this routine, my health will improve dramatically. All I have to do is remember that the human body can handle anything I put it through. This sentiment works for me to push myself whenever I get tired mid-sprint.

My plan is to start running a little farther each time I jog. Eventually, I hope to be running the whole time.
