The men of Western society sexualize us women from a young age. Sexualizing women leads men to objectify women. Why do we perpetuate this objectification by shaving off our own body hair?

I used to shave all of my body hair. Embarrassed for existing, I was a shy young teen, spellbound by what the world had to offer, and terrified of being rejected by a boy.

I now believe that shaving my own body hair doesn’t make sense. We are having our rights stripped from us – why would I try to conform to the ideal of feminine desirability? If you agree with me, I invite you to join me in my denial of male sexualization and objectification of women by letting all of my body hair grow naturally.

For people new to this idea, I recommend that you stop shaving your legs first. Then, once you’ve grown comfortable with this, stop shaving your pubes, if you shave them in the first place. Once you feel entirely comfortable with this, stop shaving your armpits. That’s what I did and it worked for me. Now I can take more time to focus on myself and pursue the things I want to pursue, like learning (knowledge is power) and relaxing with my vape.

there you go – women should stop dieting, working out and shaving – take up space, be visible! Be natural. Might be a better world.
