Connecting

I use screens to serve my goals. Learning languages, writing, connecting—yes. Wasting time—no.
I remind myself of the cost. Every minute online is a minute I don’t get back. That thought helps me be wise about my choices..
When I want to scroll, I journal. It turns my restlessness into reflection.
I challenge myself to unplug. Can I go an hour without my phone? A day? Each time, I surprise myself.
I use my devices with intention. Every session starts with a purpose: create, learn, connect, or unwind. No mindless browsing.
I take walks without headphones. Nature doesn’t need a soundtrack—it gives its own.
I make real-world plans. The more I connect in person, the less I crave digital validation.
I made my home screen boring. No social media apps. Just essentials. Fewer temptations, fewer regrets.
I keep notifications off. If it’s truly important, someone will call. Silence brings sanity.
I set time limits, then stick to them. My phone reminds me when 30 minutes of social media are up. Then, I move on.
