The science museum’s planetarium—I love basking in the fact that the stars are wiser than humans.
I always end up by the river at sunset because twilight makes the city feel cinematic.
My favorite place is the bookstore with the crooked stairs. It feels haunted in a comforting way.
The botanical conservatory is my escape. A conglomeration of humidity, plants, and peace in one place.
I go to the bar in my neighborhood where the bartenders always know my “usual.”
My favorite place is the old train station. The echoes sound like stories I haven’t lived yet.
The dog park—even though I don’t have a dog. Borrowed joy is still joy.
I love the small movie theater that only plays indie films and sells popcorn that tastes like childhood.
The riverwalk is my go-to place for remembering I’m a human and not a machine.
I go to the little alley of murals when I miss seeing colors.
