In 2024, I received a voicemail from the FBI. They were asking about some plane trips I had taken in 2020. I verified the number online, then called them back.
In 2020, I flew on a one-way plane ticket into the city of St. Thomas, capital of the Virgin Islands, and stayed with this man for two days, then flew home.
In 2024, I learned that this man was being investigated by the FBI for for “trafficking.” My blood ran cold. This experience led me to be more careful with my life.
