What is your favorite animal?

I love deer for their grace and awareness. There was once a small child exploring the forest by the river and their parent’s friend’s cabin. All of a sudden, this child’s eyes locked with another pair on the ground. It was a tiny deer, just a few days old. These two creatures shared a moment, and the child never told anyone about the encounter. The small child was me.
