How have your political views changed over time?

I used to believe politics had nothing to do with who I loved. Then, I spent some time with a staunch republican. I wish I could say I learned my lesson, but then I spent some time with someone who didn’t vote. At long last, I realized that politics had everything to do with who I loved.
