I know this site is mainly for boomers, but I still glance at it occasionally to see what my relatives are up to. Plus, I have used it in the past to contact friends when I lose my phone. I lose my phone about once a year – that’s why I never pay as little as possible for a new one.
The last time I bought a new phone, however, it broke within days of me getting it. It was the cheapest android phone I could get. I did not receive a refund because there was physical damage to the phone. I must have dropped it or something.
Then, I bought a used iphone 11 for $180. The price was steep, but I knew that iPhone is a reputable brand. It is still working, despite me having dropped it multiple times.
