I’d relive the first time I stood on stage for a play — nervous but proud. My first time auditioning, I secured the role of Gladys in The Best Christmas Pagent Ever. I was so proud when everyone laughed in the scene when I was supposed to keep a straight face. I did, and I had never felt more powerful.
