What historical event fascinates you the most?

Frida Kahlo was a Mexican painter known for her deeply personal and symbolic self-portraits. Born in 1907, she endured lifelong pain from a childhood illness and a devastating bus accident, both of which shaped her art. Through vivid colors and surreal imagery, Kahlo explored identity, womanhood, and suffering. Her work blended realism and fantasy, capturing both physical and emotional scars. Beyond her art, she became a symbol of resilience, self-expression, and empowerment—celebrated today as one of the most influential artists in history.

Through pain, she painted power. Kahlo fascinates me because she turned suffering into art that still speaks to resilience today.
