Writing has always been my constant companion, but I’ve also thought about what it would be like to step into the publishing side of things—discovering new voices, editing manuscripts, and helping authors find their audience.
The idea of being part of the storytelling process from a different angle excites me. There’s something rewarding about shaping a rough draft into a polished book, helping someone articulate their story in a way that resonates.
Publishing is fast-paced and competitive, but it’s also a world full of ideas. I love that it blends creativity with logistics—contracts, deadlines, marketing—all in service of bringing art to life.
I’d be equally happy working in a small indie press or a big-name publishing house. Either way, it would feel like being surrounded by inspiration every day.
Even if I don’t end up there full-time, I could see myself freelancing as an editor or literary consultant. It’s one of those dream paths that feels like a natural extension of who I am—a storyteller at heart who loves helping others find their voice.
