I didn’t understand it fully at the time, but in this year, I remember my dad losing his job due to circumstances unrelated to the financial crisis, I believe. My family had a lot of money saved up, and we were able to buy a bigger house. Unfortunately, it was located two hours away from all the friends I had ever had in the world.
