To get my old life back after an accident when I was 16 was the hardest personal goal I’ve ever set for myself. Almost nobody had hope that I would ever be the same – I set out to prove them wrong. Then, I graduated from college with a double major. I had made a full physical recovery, but, mentally, I could no longer make friends with decent people. I went to five weeks of residential therapy after college, and they were the first ones to recognize that I needed an antipsychotic medication. Once I started taking this, my life changed for the better. What was the hardest personal goal you’ve ever set for yourself? Comment to let me know!
