I felt out of place when my family dragged me to Catholic church with them until I was 18. I stopped believing in any type of god when I was about 13.
In college, the first time I saw the movie, “Spotlight,” and my disinterest turned to rage. How could the Vatican not expel priests who had been convicted of molesting little kids? To combat the church, I started proclaiming “hail satan!” at every opportunity I got. The Catholic church had such a large following despite this outrageous facts, and I was disgusted.
