The furthest I’ve ever traveled from home was to Costa Rica. I went there with my family when I was in my late teens.
We had so much fun there. We made memories zip-lining, sleeping in tents on the beach, and hiking up a volcano.
We zip-lined our way through a rain forest. Vibrant green hills slid past us as we careened into the luscious green canopy. We also
went on some incredible hikes and saw some wild nature. We saw a million birds of every different size and color. We saw a
tarantula and a sloth in the wild.
The story I want to share, though, was back at our resort. In the lobby, I started talking to this traveling band. We made our way
back to their room. They offered me a hit from this gigantic blue bong they had in their room. I was a heavy pot
smoker at the time. I had not been able to bring anything on this trip, though, so this was a welcome relief.
