What traditions have you not kept that your parents had?

A tradition I have not kept that my parents had is procreating. I do not wish to use my own body to create more human life which will necessarily suffer. I prefer to leave my unborn children in a peaceful state of nonexistence. What traditions have you not kept that your parents had?
