Who is your favorite historical figure?

My favorite historical figure is Rosa Parks because she had the balls to stand up to the U.S. government. In 1955, Parks refused to move to give her seat to a white rider on a city bus. Because of this, she was taken to jail. A local civil rights leader later bailed her out. Her actions inspired the Montgomery boycott, which also took place in 1955.
