My favorite historical figure is Marie Curie. Curie was the first person to win a Nobel Prize twice. She is the only person to have won a Nobel Prize in two scientific fields.: Chemistry and Physics. She coined the term “radioactivity” which is a word still used today.
I read an Illustrated Classics book on her when I was young – In about third or fourth grade. My parents bought me the book. I remember being a bit daunted by her accomplishments, and I remember being inspired by her.
