I want to visit Poland, Hungary, and Turkey. Many of my ancestors were Polish, and so I am curious to explore my heritage. I also had a friend who’s family was from Poland and spoke Polish at home. We don’t talk anymore, but this was what piqued my interest in Poland.
I remember doing a project on Hungary in 7th grade. I don’t remember much, but I learned they eat goulash, which is like a stew. They also have public bathhouses there. I am excited to try one out. Also, they have a high-income economy and tuition-free secondary education. I feel like having these things would make people there more kind to each other.
I’ve heard Turkey called the “crossroads of civilization.” This is because Turkey is right between Asia, Africa, and Europe. It sounds to me like a very interesting place. I like learning, and I know I can learn a lot there.
