My favorite thing about myself is my ability to chill in silence. I know many people are socialized to keep talking all throughout a visit, even if there is nothing to say. This is okay. If someone prefers to keep talking, I will listen. I will even participate in the conversation in an agreeable fashion.
However, I think Uma Thurman said this best in Pulp Fiction. In Pulp Fiction, Uma Thurman’ ‘s character Mia Wallace has a line. She says, “That’s how you know you’ve found somebody really special; you can just shut the fuck up for a minute and comfortably share silence.” This quality, I know, is indicative of a fellow chill person.
