What’s the oldest thing you own that you still use daily?

The oldest thing I own that I still use daily is my nose. I am incredibly grateful for my nose. It allows me to smell, which in turn prevents my from consuming dangerous things by accident.

In middle school, I used to hate my nose. This is largely because II became too focused on being popular. In doing so, I ignored the reality that there was nothing “wrong” with my nose. My nose was ugly according to my perception, rather than an objective truth.

Now, I think my nose is great. I love my nose, and I am very glad to have it. I do not value people based on their beauty, so I will not say that my nose is beautiful. However, I can now say with complete confidence now that there is nothing ugly about my nose.
