One of my favorite moments was when my youngest sibling baked me a cake for my birthday. They did this many times, but I never fully appreciated it until recently. They do this all the time for work. They own an LLC of a bakery business in a big city close by. To me, this sweetens the gift even more, because they share their literal expensive fancy product for free.
This has deepened my relationship with this sibling very much. Now, I get them a gift for their birthday too. They also give me a ride home from our parent’s house sometimes, and we have deep talks in the car. These talks impact my life in big ways, and I am very grateful.
