Spring is a joyous time. It is interesting to see the rebirth of an entire ecosystem. My favorite season of the year is spring.
As a child, some fun memories I have from spring include the following. I remember my mom taking me around the house, and pointing out perennials that grew back every year. Peonies, daffodils, and sunflowers all grew in our yard, and I learned how to recognize them all by name.
I remember what a big deal it was to first be able to go outside without a coat on. I remember running and playing, or even basking, under the sun’s gleaming rays. Springtime is a glorious time because the earth wakes up again.
Spring is my favorite season of the year. Flowers bloom, and everything wakes up again. Spring is a joyous time.
