The most I ever worked was 38 hours a week at Jets gas station. This schedule really burned me out. I worked fewer hours at Kohl’s and at TJX. Then, when I got my job at Social Security, I worked no more than 28 hours a week. This worked well for years. Then, my contract ended, and I moved away to go live with my partner in a house surrounded by forest.
