Share a story about someone who had a positive impact on your life.

My friends Claire had a profound positive impact on my life. She assisted me in a big way with my recovery from my severe injury when I was a teen. This is a story of a time which occurred in the summer of 2011, before the injury. Claire and I had all kinds of plans.
One such plan came to fruition on a Saturday in 2011. I “borrowed” my parents’ keys, and I acted like I went to bed. After my family fell asleep, I got up and popped the screen out of the window. Then, I climbed up on my desk and crawled through the window onto the rooftop outside. I then scaled the roof to a tree close to the house, which I climbed down.
Then, I opened the garage door and got into the family mini-van. I put the car in neutral, then held my breath as I began to roll backwards. I steered the car out of my driveway and into the street. Then, I put the car in drive and sped away.
First, I drove to Claire’s house, where our friend Lisa was sleeping over. I texted Claire that I was there. Her and Lisa snuck out of Claire’s window and joined me.
Then, we picked up another friend, Josh. The smell of marijuana stank up the car as he crept in. We drove to the lake, and Josh pulled a blunt from his pocket. He held it up to his mouth. Then, he held the lighter under the tip of the blunt and flicked it.
An orange glow lit up the inside of the car. I felt super excited and anticipatory; I had only smoked weed a handful of times before. Josh passed the blunt to Claire. Claire put it up to her lips, and the tip of the blunt lit up again. Claire passed me the blunt, and I put it up to my lips. I did my best to inhale before I descended into a coughing fit.
“It’s good shit, right?” Josh laughed.
