This picture was taken on the peninsula of the river itself. I thought this view was beautiful, so I snapped a picture of it. Today, I will describe the peninsula itself. It’s a place where the river curves around it, and there’s nothing preventing someone from parking their car on the abandoned road and walking onto it.

The peninsula itself used to be developed, with a road and buildings on it and everything. Soon, they realized the area floods almost every year, and the buildings were torn down. Now, the peninsula itself is completely abandoned, and the road is overgrown with wildlife.

If you walk down to the end of the abandoned road, there is a path. This path enters a deciduous forest, and it leads to the tip of the peninsula. It’s very pretty there, with a little send beach. Outsiders like to throw parties here sometimes. They leave trash there, but my partner and I pick it up when we can. There’s a fire pit there too.

Do you have any cool places or wildlife near where you live? If so, I would love to hear about it!
