I feed the stray cats in my community. I’ve counted six stray cats in total. There are four cats that my partner has been feeding since they were kittens: two orange ones, a calico one, and a black one. Orangey 2 is friendly. Orangey 1 is fat. The calico one and the black one are still skittish, but we are slowly gaining their trust.
Their mom is still around too, and a darker gray one is new to the neighborhood. I leave out a bowl of cat food every morning. I’ve started refilling it halfway through the day because those cats are hungry.
