Do you have a quote you live your life by or think of often?

No. Now, I like to adapt my thoughts to changing circumstances. When I was a teenager, though, I did have a quote I thought of often. They were the lyrics, “This is our decision to live fast and die young.” I took them in a very literal sense. This did not end well.
In short, I spent 120 days in Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The first seven weeks of that time, I was comatose. But, I did manage to recover from my severe injury well. This took a lot of grit and tenacity, but I did it. Now, if you met me, you would never know I was injured.
