No job. I do not think anyone should work for free. I demand to be paid what I’m worth, regardless of the job. I would refuse to do any job for free, except in emergencies.
When their mom had a stroke, I stopped working my job to spend time in the hospital with her. I love my partner and their mother, so I did this for free because it was an emergency situation.
Now, I spend time with my partner’s mom in a nursing home. Being in a nursing home with their recovering mother is very emotionally taxing. So I started asking to be paid. This is my job now. Would you ever do a job and not be paid? If so, what job? I’m curious as to how others answer this question.
