When we were arrested in Mobridge, South Dakota in 2016 on our way to the DAPL protests, I made out with my best friend Sammy in the backseat of a cop car, to piss off the cops who had arrested us.
I had a secret crush on Sammy. I think she liked me as well, but during her time in America as a foreign exchange student, we were both more focused on partying hard than we were on romance.
